- Upon arrival enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or two. Dinner follows either at the Inn or a superior local restaurant. Saturday includes a picnic breakfast at your door, then a self guided tour of local galleries and shops, with lunch at a special local spot. The afternoon is open for individual pursuits, then plan on a special evening of interesting food and drink. Sunday morning brings a relaxing day of morning coffee or tea and the Sunday paper followed by brunch and a leisurely departure. $700 per couple.
- Best of Birds - The Way to See Our Feathered Friends
- Start with a leisurely reception and buffet dinner upon arrival Friday. Then Saturday after breakfast it's off to the world renowned Ward Wildfowl Museum for a special tour. Saturday afternoon is free for birding locally (forest or river) or just plain relaxing. That night dinner is provided at the inn. Early Sunday (6:30 am) your guide will greet you for a custom birding tour of Assateague followed by a late morning brunch at the River House Inn. $700 per couple.
- Biking or Canoeing Inn to Inn - A Very Special Tour
- Start at the inn of your choice, or we'll pick it for you. First night - reception, dinner and orientation on bike or canoe routes. Morning, breakfast, then off on the tour to the next inn (if by water, the canoe livery picks you up and puts you in the appropriate river and picks you up in the pm.) And in each case we provide a lunch and deliver your baggage, no fuss no muss. Upon arrival at the next inn that afternoon you freshen up, enjoy the sights add relax before dinner. The next day continues the fun with a return to the starting inn, or if an extended tour, on to the next inn. A special tour to special inns. - Step into the world of real family farming. Dennis and family will show you the variety of the seasons, from apples in spring to zucchini in the summer, and, animals to see (some to pet, but not all), from dogs and cats to kids and piggies. Every season has its yield; pumpkins, gourds, corn, melons and berries, winter wheat and summer squash, decorative Indian corn, and flowers (including sunflowers as "Tall as an elephant's eye").
